DTS silencers are manufactured with or without flanges as desired. The silencer backstage surfaces are covered with glass wool covered with glass fleece, preventing particle dispersion into the system. In addition, the backstage surfaces are covered with 0.6 mm thick perforated sheet metal to increase sound absorption.
